Issue Tourism License for Tourism Camps Service

This service describes the procedure required to issue a tourism license for a Tourism Camp classified into the following categories:

Day stay

A)    Standard
Tourist camp that provides minimal service quality and amenities. Meets basic requirements for a day stay in the camp.

B)    Premium
Tourist camp that provides high-level service quality and amenities. Exceeds minimum requirements and provides a premium experience for a day stay in the camp.

Overnight stay

A)    3-star camp
Tourist camp that provides minimal service quality and amenities. Meets basic requirements and provides accommodation.

B)    4-star camp
Tourist camp that provides high level service quality and amenities, exceeds customers minimum requirements, provides accommodation, good facilities, and services.

C)     5-star camp
Tourist camp that provides luxurious service quality and amenities and is among the best offers globally. 

The Tourism License is valid for 5 years.

Conditions

  • Applicant must be listed as either owner, partner, or authorized signatory on the commercial registration.
  • There may not be another open request of the same type.
  • The commercial registration must be valid for at least 1 day on the day of submission.
  • The commercial permit must be valid for at least 1 day on the day of submission.
  • The commercial activities required must be contained in the commercial registration and commercial permit
  • The establishment registration must be valid for at least 1 day on the day of submission.
  • The Civil Defense Certificate must be valid for at least 1 day on the day of submission.
  • The Security Systems Certificate must be valid for at least 1 day on the day of submission.
  • The insurance policies must be valid for at least 1 day on the day of submission.
  • The applicant’s identification card must be valid at the time of application.
  • The manager’s identification card must be valid at the time of application.

Documents required

  • Copy of Commercial Permit
  • Copy of Commercial Registration
  • Copy of Building Completion Certificate or Lease contract for plot of land to purpose of tourism camp
  • Copy of Civil Defense Certificate
  • Copy of Security Systems Certificate
  • Copy of Establishment Identification
  • Copy of proof of registration in the performance statistics program
  • Valid First Aid Certificate for at least one employee that is available of the Camp during all working hours.
  • Certificate of Examination of Electrical Connections and Extensions issued by an approved company of Qatar General Electricity & Water Corporation
  • Insurance Certificate, clearly stating the extent and limitations of the coverage, for any incident, and the maximum coverage per incident.
  • Providing security and protection services from a competent company and providing proof of that.

Fees

  • The fee for Tourism Camps license & classification is QR22,000.
  • Fees are paid after the application is approved.

Instructions

  1. Login to the portal with your NAS credentials.
  2. Go to My Account.
  3. Click on the View to choose the organization.
  4. Select the specific service from the List of services (right-hand side).
  5. Fill in the required data.
  6. Attach the required documents.
  7. Confirm the accuracy of the entered data.
  8. Submit the service application.
